I’ve been using Open Office for quite a long time now, which natively includes a PDF export option. I’ve found this to be incredibly handy for sending files off that I don’t want people to be able to edit. However I know a lot of people who haven’t made the switch to Open Office and Microsoft Office doesn’t include this functionality.
Enter doPDF – this software installs on your system and creates a virtual printer. This allows you to print from any program and will output a PDF file.
It looks like a fairly well-executed piece of software and the extra bonus is that it’s free for both personal and commercial usage.
