Hands down Android kicks ass! Really been using it a lot the Last while. Very happy with hardware too. If physical keyboard isn't important then get a Nexus One - but I like being able to switch back and forth.

Also thinking of moving from an E71. Am contemplating the Milestone but something keeps stopping me from pressing that 'buy' button!
Have done MASSIVE research into all the different phones available and came across your blog today.
Any negatives on the Moto Milestone?

Hi Nigel, I also spent a very long time thinking about whether or not I should buy this phone. I was torn between it and the Nexus One, and the sense that perhaps it would be wise to let the platform mature a little more.

Ultimately I'm very happy with my purchase. As a heavy user of gmail, google calendar and other Google services, it makes a lot of sense for me to be on Android. The integration of those products is excellent. The physical keyboard is a bonus and works well, despite bad reviews. It's early yet but I'll post more thoughts soon!
