Unknown plant

Photo Description

I have no idea what this plant is, but it had, presumably, recently fired out a load of seeds.

If anyone has an idea what this might be please let me know in the comments.

If seen in ireland, could well be Rosebay Willowherb….very common “weed”….or “wildflower” if you prefer.

    • Cool. Never even heard of that! Let’s go with “wild flower” instead of “weed”, sounds nicer 🙂

Someone on 500px said they thought it was one of the Epilobium species?

Just checked: Rosebay Willowherb’s Latin name is Epilobium Angustifolium.
Loads of it here in our patch of ground, grows wild and quite attractive, but tends to take over…….

    • It did look very nice (I assume that’s what drew me to take a photo of it). Cool to know what it is too, thanks!
