I don’t even know what to do with myself. It’s taken over two months, but I finally have a car again.
At the very start of this year I took the unusual step of publicly announcing some general intentions for this year. Obviously it’s early days yet but I figured as the end of the first month is approaching I’d give myself a wee pat on the back.
A short memorandum of my intents for 2012. Covering photography, work, music, life, and money. Hereby commences the year as defined by our somewhat arbitrary delineation of time.

As is traditional for me on Christmas Day, I decided to go for a Christmas swim in Ballycastle harbour. I failed to find out whether there were other like-minded (eg crazy) people in the area that do the same Christmas tom-foolery, mainly due to my work overload in the weeks running up to Christmas day. I went looking for the Environment Department DVLA office & apparently it’s woven from twigs, padded with feathers & cries ‘cheep cheep’ if you come near or it gets hungry.
12 hours daylight, 12 hours night. Not very remarkable, except that I noticed it.
