Book: Show us a great comic book.
I remember when I first started reading it I felt that the illustration was somewhat lacking, but as I got inexorably sucked into the story I understood that the illustration suited the story perfectly and was a pleasure to look at.
From Hell concerns an incredibly well-researched take on Jack the Ripper, exploring societal levels from Victorian times, and detailing, in-depth, occult ritual and masonic belief in symbolism and power.
This comic book blew me away. Whether you're into comic books or not, this is another example of Alan Moore transcending a genre and going to another level altogether.
