Yesterday I received the most excellent news that my sister-in-law, Ros, had given birth to a new baby girl and that mother and child were both doing very well. My new niece is called Zoe.
I’m so happy and can’t wait to go visiting to shower some congratulations on second-time mother. Ros has been an absolute trooper through a difficult pregnancy, but managed to hold out long enough that Zoe had enough time to come out strong. She was born at 4lbs 2oz which is quite light, but the hospital staff are very relaxed about it and whilst she’s in an incubator she doesn’t need any breathing assistance.
Robert sounds absolutely over the moon to have a little sister and they’re exactly 4 years and 6 months apart, which is nice.
My bro, Philip, has sent me through some photos to tide me over til I make it down. Hopefully I’ll be posting some photos of my own soon, but in the meantime, here’s some that Philip took 🙂
