So yesterday a big group of us, about 30 or so, arrived in Siem Reap yesterday afternoon and went to our hotel, Golden Banana. It’s fantastic, lovely pools, comfortable rooms, good food.
Last night Los Poporks played a fantastic gig in the city centre and today we’ve all just been hanging out round the pool. Tomorrow a load of the group are doing the half-marathon fundraising run. In my laziness, I’m not, instead opting for finally getting round to seeing Angkor Wat! It’s taken me nearly a year to get here, but I’m sure it’ll be worth it.
