Lough na Crannagh

Photo Description

After yesterday’s colour overload it seemed apt to post a greatly more subdued photo.

Near the top of Fair Head is a stunning lake called Lough na Crannagh, the surface of which was nearly mirror-like when we were there. I think the lake sits in a small depression that keeps it out of the wind. Really very beautiful.

The island in theĀ centreĀ of the late (seen to the right of this image) has a small crannog built on it.
