Further along the coastline the intensity of the waves abated somewhat, although the white foam was still evidence of the strength of the surges.
I loved the contrasts here, helped along by the sun catching the white foam.
I was torn between choosing colour or black & white for this shot, but in the end black & white won out as it just felt like it had more character. I think it expressed the tonality of the shot better than the colour, in which you were all too distracted by the blues in the sky.
