Huge pumps, illegally yet in plain sight, pour silt-laden water into a large river barge on the Mekong river at Phnom Penh. Two barge workers sit at the end of the boat waiting for the barge to be fully loaded.

The barges frequently travel up and down the river so overloaded that the river laps onto the deck. You can see an un-laden barge in the background, floating high in the water.
