Scarcity of snow

The winter in the mountain town of Zakopane in Poland has been unusually mild this year, with a severe shortage of snow, no doubt making business difficult for all the winter sports providers.

In the distance we can see a small ski-slope has clearly been using snow making machines to keep their business open.
